Lesson 1: Parts Of The Story
The main elements of a story are character(s), plot and setting. You may before have heard these terms. Every whole tale has people. The characters can be adults, children, or even animals. In some stories, objects with human voices and traits are characters, like the teacup in Beauty as well as the Beast, for example. The plot is the story plot itself. A good plot captures attention and makes the reader of your story want to keep reading. Conflict is another term that relates to the plot. Every tale has an issue. This is actually the issue or problem faced by the characters. It might be a problem they have to solve or an adventure you want them to have.
The environment is where the story occurs. It might take to put in place a familiar city or another nationwide country, in the character’s home, at an educational school, in a sports-activities stadium…any place that fits the heroes and the plot. Do you have a family pet that seems to think he is human? Once you begin to consider all the people you understand and why is them special and various from each other, you shall begin to get a lot of great ideas for characters. Of course, your character or character types will need a whole story to participate.
They should do something interesting or have a special experience. Think of some of the plain things you are thinking about and like to do. You might want to write a tale in which the characters play sports, solve a mystery, or win a contest. Something thrilling, embarrassing or frightening that has occurred for you or a friend can also be a starting place for a good story.

When you have an idea for a storyline and the personas it will involve, you shall need to decide where your tale will need a place. Sometimes you will choose the accepted place before you constitute the plot. If you like the zoo or the mall, you might set a story in another of those places.
